Is there a Bank Holiday in England on the last Monday in May? If we are in London or York, what will be closed? Do museums, etc. normally stay open on bank holidays? Thanks for your help.
I'd hate to be planning a day's activities, only to run into closed places- We'd like to see as much as possible during the short time we will be in England.
