We were thinking we could have a nice time before going back to Europe, but it turned out to be the most stessing time in our stay in the Phils. The first night, there was a rain and a part of the cottage where my brother and nephew were sleeping driped, we tried to contact the information but nobody was there so we have to go there ourselves with the rain ,before we got a help. We were not transferred to another room until i requested for that. I made my complain about the tel. and I was told it is not working. In the room where we were transfered is the same,Tel.is also not working and also the television. Two days after we were transfered I have again to complain because our room were not cleaned, towels were not chance and the garbage were not emptied. I asked the people in the reception what is the 10% I am paying for if there is nothing done? do we still have to clean our own rooms? We also have order sheet in the evening for the breakfast, we give our orders and what time it should be delivered, The next day it is either to early or to late when it is delivered, so we could not plan our day program, the worst is that we have to pay again 10% which i thought we are already paying 10% for the service of our stay. With the strand, there is only enough water to swim at about 4pm, and the swimming pool is too small to occupy the people who just come for a day stay on weekends. The show in the evening with the playing with fire is quite nice but when it is the same all through the week then it becomes boring. IT MEANS IN THIS RESORT IS ONLY GOOD FOR ONE DAY OR NIGHT: BEDDING :TOWELS;are not change, ROOMS are not cleaned and TEL: AND TV not working. We are booked for 8 days but we decided to leave Bluejaz before i will get a strock! Just good we did not have to pay our first night. We were booked in one of theFuji’s Appt. My latest visit took me back to Bluejaz Resort on Samal Island. I am always impressed with the improvements that have taken place since the resort opened. I have fallen fowl of slow service in the past at both Bluejaz and Paradise. I am glad bluejaz has made improvements in their service. They now have faster food options,a buffet at the weekend and charcoal grilled chicken and pork cooked and ready to eat off the barbecue. I guess they where overwhelmed by the number of visitors visiting there waterpark when it opened. They have opened a new beach area with tree covered seating on the beach front. I got to ride the zip line as well as the watersides. At the weekend they had a band on the beachfront Saturday and Sunday nights. On Sunday afternoon they have a family day with a magic show and games for the children. There is a lot to do at this resort, not just swimming and the beach,but wake boarding , jet skiing , waterskiing, watersides and zip line. Their Fiji rooms are beautiful. The air conditioning is quiet and works well. My air conditioning was no where near the bed and did not leak. The bathrooms where all natural stone and the bedroom floors where bamboo. I would recommend bluejaz over paradise as there is little to do after 5pm while at paradise resort and I find my self board there in the evening. Bluejaz had a fireworks display and a band and disco playing on a gigantic stage in the water in front of there infinity pool while I was there June 2010.
