i am sad too that pets are not allowed..i love my munings and i wanted to take them with whenever i want to specially the beach..haysss:( they are not welcome..

As a regular visitor to Davao I have stayed at Bluejaz and Paradise. My latest visit took me back to Bluejaz Resort on Samal Island. I am always impressed with the improvements that have taken place since the resort opened. I have fallen fowl of slow service in the past at both Bluejaz and Paradise. I am glad bluejaz has made improvements in their service. They now have faster food options,a buffet at the weekend and charcoal grilled chicken and pork cooked and ready to eat off the barbecue. I guess they where overwhelmed by the number of visitors visiting there waterpark when it opened. They have opened a new beach area with tree covered seating on the beach front. I got to ride the zip line as well as the watersides. At the weekend they had a band on the beachfront Saturday and Sunday nights. On Sunday afternoon they have a family day with a magic show and games for the children. There is a lot to do at this resort, not just swimming and the beach,but wake boarding , jet skiing , waterskiing, watersides and zip line. Their Fiji rooms are beautiful. The air conditioning is quiet and works well. My air conditioning was no where near the bed and did not leak. The bathrooms where all natural stone and the bedroom floors where bamboo. I would recommend bluejaz over paradise as there is little to do after 5pm while at paradise resort and I find my self board there in the evening. Bluejaz had a fireworks display and a band and disco playing on a gigantic stage in the water in front of there infinity pool while I was there June 2010.

ok…bluejaz..?its the most i hated place since i got there, why? its because of their very poor services…to all bluejaz employees hope you can change the way your services to the customers…don’t choose customers..be attentive and be hospitable not like what you’ve done for us before…you know what your 10% service charge its not worthy and it really ruined our stayed their in your resort…its a damn thing that we decided to stay there….MASYADONG MATAGAL SERVICES NIYO….pangit masyado…makapasmo, makamatay sa kadugay ug so very unsatisfactory……thnx change for the better………..

This place is not all that it claims to be. The water in the swimming pool and Water Slide is dirty. The food is of poor quality. The rooms that are available to rent overnight are very very dirty and substandard. The A/C leaked on our bed, the TV only had a few local channels the bathroom was very dirty.
I do not recommend this place at all. There is a better alternative next door. Paradise Island is better by far and much morevalue for your pesos.
