Hello!!! Nice article on what is Christmas for Filipinos. It made me missed being a Filipino and a Davaoeno as well. I am so proud of being a Davaoeno, not only as a Filipino. Davaoeno people are really different. They are excellent. I want to ask permission from you to quote some comments of your article and publish it to promote Filipinos from the rest of the world. Thank you for your article. Excellent job!!!

HI,
Without wishing to be negative, photographs would be of great help if Davao's intention is to promote that city as the capital of Mindanao. There are too few updates---many other Davao websites are old, and this problem needs to be addressed. Stiff competition from other cities doesn't help either. Also, do smarten up all main thoroughfares, streets,--tooo many vendors blocking the way, scruffy-looking sidewalks, etc. It professes to be clean, but order should also be a priority.
My suggestion is to gentrify the main thoroughfares:remove obstruction, put ornamental plants, greenery, plant those beautiful acacia trees whereever possible. Tidy up, smarten, clean up, keep it lovely. AS for those hideous overhead electric cables and electric wirings---ugly, ugly, ugly!and above all, utterly dangerous, too. Mabuhay!

That goes for me, too. I'll go for Iskul Bukol to see if the Tito-Vic-and-Joey trio (plus Miss Tapia) can still make me laugh.

I'll do away with the other corny ones.

I like option 6. We did that around 3 years ago, although 2 movies were enough to make our eyes tired. It was so much fun, though! Maybe we can try it again this year with Tanging Ina and Iskul Bukol. :D

Merry Christmas!
