Have you heard of a place in Davao City called Ulas? If you are from Davao or have been here frequently, the answer would be a resounding “Yes.” For those who do not, here are some short descriptions:

  • All vehicles from the south (Gensan, Bansalan, Kidapawan, Digos) going to Davao City center passes through this place.
  • All vehicles from Cagayan de Oro City, Bukidnon, Calinan or Mintal pass along this place when going to Davao.
  • It has one of the busiest intersections in Davao. Drivers and commuters should always be careful and heed the grade-school mantra: Stop, Look and Listen.
  • It’s not really a fancy place that everyone is dying to see.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome [to] Ulas, Davao City!
