hi there! this is a good blog to have online!

but, pls correct the spelling of Casa Leticia — it’s with two i’s. if you could, i’m sure it would be helpful to publish their internet addresses too, yes?

    Hi Blogie,

Thanks for dropping by and for informing us about the clerical error. I will fix it as soon as possible.

As you can see, there are still a lot of small hotels in Davao that are not listed here. We really find it hard looking for their details (websites, email addresses, etc.) But promise, we will do our best to provide much more comprehensive information.

Roadway Inn is a good choice. I recommend it highly. But if you want to be near the malls, you can try the Sychar Hotel near the Victoria Plaza or W R In fronting the Gaisano Mall. All of those are located in J P Laurel Ave., Bajada.

    Hi Princess,

The best one I can recommend is the Humberto’s Hotel. It’s a walking distance to the University of the Immaculate Conception in Bonifacio Street. Read the post above for the room rates or better yet, call them up for the updated price.

Help please. I’m going to Davao on August 23, in time for the festival. I’m torn between Casa Leticia, Legaspi Inn and Davao Imperial (considering the route of the parade). Which would you recommend? I’m looking for nice hotels/inns with low rates. Thanks.

Hi, what hotel/s would you recommend that is/are near malls, restaurants, tourist spots etc. in short, at the city center. budget is Php1200-1500 for two.
    Thanks!

P.S. I hope you would also add ratings in terms of service, rooms, ambiance etc,. And maybe you could also add the common/tourist places near the hotels example:
    Victoria’s Secret Hotel
    2 star service
    3 star room
    5 star ambiance
    – 5 minute drive away from City hall
    – 2 minute walk from SM davao

(and if possible, some pictures, because it will be nice to see the real thing,)

    too demanding? haha,
Nwei, your website is nice, very helpful and informative. Thank you very much. Hope to hear from you soon.

    Hi again!

By the way, FM&A SUITES-Home Sweeter than Home is conveniently located in the city center near Davao Polyclinic and NCCC HB1 Branch-Artiaga-Quezon Blvd. Streets. The location is near to malls, tourist spots and business centers. The PRIDE OF THE NATION AWARDS 2008 will give recognition to FM&A SUITES in November 2008 as the Most Outstanding Hotel in Service and Amenities (Davao City Awards). The hotel is operating for almost two (2) years now with an ambience of HOME where hospitable service and amenities feel you at home. “A SMILE BRINGS EXTRA MILES IN BUSINESS” is the dictum for every member of the FM&A SUITES family, a truly Filipino hospitality.

Not included in the list is Radiance Inn along San Pedro St. is also a nice place to stay. Very safe and opposite the Davao PNP headquarters. Been there a couple of times already.

I miss Davao – haven’t been there for a year and a half. As soon as I got out of my holiday commitments I will sure fly to and roam around the city and enjoy what I’ve been missing lately.
